Tracy Lydell Ingram, 56, formerly of Atlantic City, NJ, passed away suddenly at his home in New Carrollton, Maryland on December 24, 2021. Tracy was born in Wilmington, North Carolina to the late Norman and Betty (Murphy) Ingram on August 9, 1965. He was raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey, graduating from Atlantic City High School. Tracy enlisted into the U.S Army  in 1983, serving for four years. Tracy enjoyed cooking and worked in the food service industry at various restaurants between New Jersey and the DMV area. He was employed at Bob Evans Restaurant in Bowie, Maryland as a short order cook. He was diligent in any place of work and held good spirits with those around him in the work environment.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents Norman and Betty, and sister Andrea.

He is survived by a daughter; Serenity Barnes, nieces, Alisha and Lauren Ingram, godmother Sharon (Libby) Howze, godsister Sonya Harvey, close friends Tablique Muhammad and Beverlyn Mack, and a host of special cousins, family, and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences and remarks may be sent to the family or expressed on this web page for Tracey. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations / financial contributions / memorial contributions to be made in Tracy’s memory to The Disabled American Veteran’s (DAV) Charitable Service Trust.
