Otway Berryman Hill, a long-term resident of Cheverly, Maryland, passed away October 12, 2021, at 78, with his family by his bedside @ Doctors Community Hospital.  He passed away of a heart attack after a five-way bypass 20 years prior. He is survived by his wife, Gail Prince Hill, of 52 years, daughter Karen, son Berry (Wendy), and granddaughter Lily. Mr. Hill attended Georgia Military Academy for high school and later graduated with business degrees from the University of Maryland. He proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam era.  Mr. Hill was a real estate appraiser, a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), and never lost his love for real estate even after retiring. A visitation will be held at Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021. Funeral service will start at 11 a.m. Interment at Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
