Linda Anders

On Friday, October 1, 2021, of Hyattsville, MD, beloved fiancé of Eric Wolfe, died at the Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center. The last of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her father Clarence, mother Pauline, and brother Charles. She is survived by cousins Cathy Higdon, Danny Higdon, Michael Anders and Donna Anders Shaffer, as well as a sister-in-law, Gretchen Anders and two nephews, Dan and Leo Anders. For over 43 years, Linda served in a variety of positions at both the Association of American Railroads and Short Line Railroad Association. Multitalented, Linda was skilled at counted cross stitch, sewing, crocheting and knitting, often making comforters and lap robes for infants and the elderly. She was equally adept at gardening and canning and loved orange tabby cats and schnauzers. She was a remarkable warm and outgoing woman who was very much loved and will be missed. A gathering of friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made in Linda’s name to the American Heart Association.
