Lewis Lively Sr.

Lewis D. “Darrell” Lively, Sr., 63, of Fairmount Heights, MD died on Monday, July 15, 2019 at his home.  Darrell was born on October 19, 1955 in Beckley, WV, a son of the late George C. Lively, Jr. amd Delma Christian Lively. He formerly worked at Behnke Nursery in Beltsville, MD for 20+ years.  Darrell married Diane G. Shirley on September 9, 1977 in Upper Marboro, MD.  Surviving with his wife of nearly 42 years is a son: Lewis D. Lively, Jr. and his wife Amy of Severn, MD; a step-son: Randall Scott of NC; a brother: David Lively of Gambrills, MD; two sisters: Linda Twigg of Lexington Park, MD; Doris Glen of Lyman, SC; three grandchildren: Adam Gardner, Lola Lively and Brody Scott.  A graveside service will be held at the Timber Ridge Church Cemetery in High View, WV on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 12 PM. Officiating will be Pastor John Sine.  Family will receive friends at the Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A. 4739 Baltimore Ave Hyattsville, MD 20781 on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 6-8 PM.
