Wayne Allen Kopenhaver

Survived by his wife, Dona (Mulvihill) Kopenhaver of Cheverly, MD, Daughter, Michele K. Kell (Stan) of McConnelsville, OH, Grandaughter Angelina M. Berry of Apple Valley, MN, Sisters and brothers in law Leslie and Lerow Wooten of Camp Springs, MD, Deborah and John Kelly of St. Leonard, MD and Janet M. Pacel of Annapolis, MD, as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nephews. Preceding him in death was granddaughter Gabriele J. Berry of Laurel, MD. 

After completing his military obligations, Wayne worked for the Bell System telecommunications companies for the next 35 years. He liked playing sports, working outside and reading spy/thriller novels. He was an avid follower of all the Washington, D.C. professional sports teams as well as the University of Maryland men's and women's sports teams.

Funeral services will be private.
