Thomas Smith

A resident of Silver Spring, MD, passed away on Thursday, July 12th, 2018, at the age of 80. Son of  the late Edward P. and Carolyn (Flickinger) Smith. He is survived by his sister, Carol Smith, also of Silver Spring.

He was a graphic artist who worked for NASA. During almost his entire adult life Tom was active in many community theater groups including the Public Playhouse, Silver Spring Stage, Greenbelt Art Center and NASA/Goddard MAD productions. His other primary passion was golf. He played nearly every day at Paint Branch after his retirement.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 27th at 2:00 p.m. at his home, Brookdale Woodward Estates, 14997 Health Center Drive, Bowie, Maryland 20716.
