Stephen Jacobs (Jeanne).   Additionally, he had two nieces, Dena Longobardi (Joseph) and Erica Dean (Jeremy); three nephews, Kevin Alsop (Kristen), Matthew Jacobs, and Michael Jacobs; and one step-nephew,  Eric Larsen (Dawn Marie).  He also had nine great nephews and nieces,  Dominic, Colton, Ryan, and Briella Longobardi, Logan, Gavin, and Mason Dean, Ruby Larsen and Declan Alsop.

He attended Mount Calvary Catholic Elementary School and Bishop McNamara High School, both in Forestville, MD. During his junior and senior years in high school, he ran cross country and track. He then went to Prince George’s Community College, receiving an Associate Degree in Business Management.

For a short time, he worked at Perpetual Bank. From July 1975 until his retirement in August 2018, he worked at the Department of Treasury, Bureau of Fiscal Service. He worked his way from bookkeeper to developing advanced skills in automated programming and later served in computer security for the agency. He also served as president of the local chapter of the National Treasury Employees Union.

In 1994, Bob moved to La Plata and became a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a third-degree Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus at Archbishop Neale (1995-1999). Prior to the pandemic, Bob began at ArtStream where he served as a back-office assistant organizing the agency’s records.
