December 1, 1954 — January 7, 2018
On January 7, 2018, of Lanham, MD, beloved husband of Gloria Sumner. Son of the late Charles Sumner and Edith Tanner. He is survived by his son, David Sumner, his brothers, Thomas (Josie) and Wayne (Ronnie) Sumner and his grandchildren, Eryn McClendon and Haley Sperry. Also surviving are brother-in-law Lenny (Pauline) Walker, Roger (Carolyn) Nichols and James Andrews, Sr., his fiancé Donna, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
