Of Hyattsville, MD, Beloved wife and life partner of 31 years to Skip Giddens and two-term Councilmember for the Town of Edmonston, MD lost her battle with cancer on Thursday, December 14, 2017. Adored mother of DJ, Chris (Tova) Teegarden, stepmother to Kimberlee Newman. Cherished Grandmom of Derek, Brandon Newman, Abigail “Buggy”, and Ryan “Ry Ry” Teegarden. Sister of Ida Jean (Kevin) George. Aunt of Catrina, Danielle, Laura, and Michael George. Friends may call at Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Tuesday, January 2 from 12:30 pm until service time at 1:30 P.M. Interment MD Veteran’s Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
