On June 15, 2007, Mrs. Lela Arvella Payne died suddenly. She lived in Hyattsville, Maryland for 61 years. She was the wife of the late Robert Lewis Payne. Mrs. Payne is the cherished mother and mother-in-law of Beverly and his wife Wendie Payne, Pamela and her husband Herb Sprouse and Sheila and her husband Randy Baker. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Dean Payne, six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
On Tuesday, June 19, 2007 the family invites all friends and family members to call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A.,
4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, Maryland from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 20 at 11:00 a.m., Bishop Darcy Abbott presiding. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
