Lawrence Coon

On October 6, 2018, at the age of 102, formerly of Hyattsville, MD. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Edith Coon. Father of Carolyn Kellock (Hector Cruz), John (Janine) Coon and Stephen Coon (Anne Clay). Nine grandchildren, Gwinne, Danny, James, Jessica, Melissa, Jenny, Katie, Shaun and Lindsey, and 11 great grandchildren also survive. Preceding him in death were five sisters and one brother. Family will receive visitors at Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Saturday, October 13 from 2 pm until time of service at 3 pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry’s name to VFW Post #8950, 9800 Good Luck Road, Lanham, MD 20706.
