Josephine M. "Jo" Howell, age 75 passed away peacefully on June 7th, at Washington Adventist Hospital. Jo was a lovingly stubborn, caring and compassionate mother and friend with a playful sense of humor that she kept right to the end. Survived by children, Debbie (Matt) Thompson, Tom and Fred Howell, and grandchildren, Jennifer Magerer, Alexis and Allison Thompson. Friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4379 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville MD on Thursday, June 14, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Hugh of Grenoble Catholic Church, 135 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:00am. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
