John Garrity

On Thursday, April 14th, 2016, age 82, of Hyattsville, MD. Beloved husband of 60 years to B. Ann Garrity. Wonderful father of Kevin and John (Karen) Garrity, Jr. Cherished Pa of Kelly, Colleen and Kerry Garrity. Son of the late Agnes and John J. Garrity. He was a judge on the Court of Special Appeals as well as a former Senator and Delegate in the State of Maryland. Friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Sunday, April 17th, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 7501 Adelphi Road, Hyattsville, MD on Monday, April 18th at 11 am. Interment at Maryland National Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23066.
