John "Eddie" "Blue" Curtis

John Edward Curtis fondly known as “Eddie” and “Blue” son of Alice Florene Barnes and David Everett was the fifth of six children (George, Joe, Odessa, Sonny, Christine). He was born on September 22, 1947 in Washington, DC and received his wings on June 4, 2026.

He graduated from McKinley Tech High School in Washington, DC and enjoyed playing cards, talking “trash”, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his Indian Acres family.

John will be remembered for the lives he touched, the memories he created, and the love he shared with family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.

Eddie leaves to mourn his passing, his son, Reginald Curtis (Mary) and his daughter Chantel McCloud (Michael), a sister, Christine, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings.
