John D. Corso

May 7, 1940 — October 20, 2023

John D. Corso passed away peacefully on October 20, 2023. John was preceded in death by his parents,
Dominick and Opal Corso, brother Richard and Janet, his loving wife of 32 years. He was a long time
resident of Mt. Rainier, Bladensburg and Davidsonville, Maryland. John retired as an oil mechanic from
Petro Oil company in 2003.

John leaves behind three sisters, Christina Stepp, Ida Romano and Theresa Hosinski. He had no children
of his own but was a loving uncle to 16 nieces and nephews. John will be remembered as a kind, loving
and giving person and will be greatly missed by his family forever.

John was a loving husband, an extremely generous man, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was truly a
kind and gentle soul. An animal lover, John gave generously to the Humane Society and the ASPCA.
John was a family man and truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. John was always willing
to pitch in and help anyone in need.

John enjoyed being outside and taking long walks at the local parks. He was a talented bowler and an avid
game player, especially poker, billiards and dominoes. John also loved to play practical jokes on family
and friends. Anything to get a little laugh.

John enjoyed listening to opera and was a dedicated fan of Elvis. He had an extensive collection of all things
Elvis. No doubt, the king himself will be there to welcome him to heaven.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Society, the ASPCA, or Hospice of the
Chesapeake.
