Francis Lacey, Sr.

February 5, 1965 — January 9, 2022

Francis Joseph Lacey Sr. passed away on January 9 2022 at his residence. He is now with the Lord and his loving father James Lacey Sr., Daughter Melissa Lacey, Son Francis Joseph Lacey Jr, both Grandfathers Author Donnelly and Francis Lacey Grandmother Alice Donnelly and Sara Lacey. Leaving behind his Mother Alice Lacey; siblings, James Lacey, Edna Ciuffetelli, Terri Willie, Charles Lacey; Children Stephanie Diaz, Brandi Capone, and Kenneth Lacey and step son Michael Kreamer, 13 grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and several Nieces, Nephews.

Frank was raised in Roger Heights and lived in Prince George County most of his life until he relocated to Georgia in 2014. His career involved manual labor, operating heavy equipment and driving 18 wheelers which he loved. Frank delivery building material up and down the east coasts for a couple of years before moving on to paving roads and snow removal for Marylanders. In 2014 Frank had moved to Georgia and worked delivering food products for the lower southern states driving for Claxton Poultry.

Frank was a man of great kindness and compassion with an unwavering love of family, a treasure that will be missed by many. Frank enjoyed friends and family, however his zero-turn tractor and his motorcycle were his #1.

Celebration of life will be held for Frank Lacey on February 19, 2022 from 10 to 12 pm at Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A. located at 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD 20781.
