Elias James Lee Fuerst

This announces the passing of Elias J. Fuerst, of Crofton, MD, who passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Maranatha Fellowship Church, located at 3828 University Blvd, College Park, Maryland. Interment will follow at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland.

Born on February 26, 2004, at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD, Elias was the son of Bryan Matthew Fuerst and Katherine Ellen Lee Fuerst. He graduated from Anne Arundel High School in 2022.

Elias was known for his joyous nature and infectious spirit, embracing all that life offered. He loved participating in and watching sports, traveling, being outdoors, and playing video games with friends. Above all, he cherished spending time with and helping others.

He is survived by his Mother, Katherine Ellen Lee Fuerst of Crofton, Maryland; his mother’s partner Robert Brown, a special man in his life; his Grandparents Gil and Ellen Lee of Greenbelt, MD, and Mark and Lee Fuerst of Berwyn Heights, MD; his Uncles Thomas Lee of Greenbelt, MD, and James Fuerst of Vicksburg, MS; and his Aunt Christa Williams of Jackson, MS. He is also survived by many friends who loved him dearly.
