Donald C. “Don” Swindle, age 75, of Trenton, FL, passed away on July 30, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 30, 1949, at Prince George’s Hospital in Cheverly, MD, to the late Noah and Azalee Swindle. Don was a graduate of the 1st class at Atholton High School in Simpsonville, MD, in 1968. He later attended Towson State University before going to work at NSA, and the Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, where he served as maintenance manager. Before he moved to Florida, Don was a member of the God’s Arc of Safety Church in Frostburg, MD. He was also a member of the American Society of Hospital Engineers, a lifetime member of the NRA, and a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and strongly believed in the Bill of Rights.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Azalee; his brothers, Johnny and Tommy; loving wives, Theresa and Orawee Suriyakul Na Ayudhya; and a son, Russell.
Don is survived by his son, Joshua; daughters, April, Brenda, and Linda; stepdaughter, Supichya “Mew” Suriyakul Na Ayudhya; his 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and his two sisters, Debra and Sue.
A graveside service was held in Brentwood, MD, where he was laid to rest next to his wife, Theresa, and son, Russell, at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made, in Don’s memory, to the Epilepsy Foundation, the Lupas Foundation, or the National Rifle Association.
