Cheryl (Sherry) Lynn Alford, age 66, passed away peacefully at Casey House Hospice, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, after a battle with cancer. She was born on December 21, 1956, to Joyce (Carr) Rusk, and William (Bill) Marvin Carr. Long before Sherry’s battle with cancer, she was a home maker to her best friend and husband, Tommy, and their fur kitties. She enjoyed the simple things in life, chatting with friends and family. She was loving, caring, funny, and her smile and blue eyes brightened the room.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Thomas (Tommy) Alford, her mother, Joyce (Rusk) Boyle, her sisters, Valerie Gates, (husband Tim), Debra Schmitt, (husband Mike), Valerie Cowan, Brenda Abenshein, Tracy Harding (husband William), and brothers, Andrew Coombs (deceased), Billy Carr, Brian Carr, and Timmy Lowe, and brother-in-law, John Michael Hott, along with many nephews and nieces.
