Cesar Mendoza Rabang quietly departed this life in the comfort of his home on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 at the age of 70 after valiantly battling lung cancer for two years. He was born in Bauang, La Union, Philippines on May 6th, 1953 then moved to the United States of America in December of 1977. He was known for his wide smile, boisterous laughter, and endlessly giving nature.
Cesar is survived by his wife of 39 years, Leticia Rosal-Rabang. They were joined in holy matrimony on September 23, 1983 in Baltimore, MD.
Cesar is lovingly remembered by his son, Cal Francis Rabang and daughter-in-law, Lilibeth Ann Q. Rabang, his grandchildren, Chance Lasario Q. Rabang and Lucian Calisto Q. Rabang, and his siblings, Neofito Rabang, Violeta Shelly, Rufino Rabang, and Gil Rabang as well as their respective families.
Cesar is predeceased by his mother, Visitacion Mendoza Rabang, and his brother, Avelino Rabang.
Cesar enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, saltwater fishing, cooking, woodcarving, and singing with the church choir. He also served faithfully as an active member of Missionary Families of Christ, formerly known as Couples for Christ FFL, where he is remembered by many members for his selfless nature and .
The mass celebrating his life will be held at Saint Bernard Catholic Church at 5700 Saint Bernard Drive, Riverdale Park, MD 20737 on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at 12:00 PM., followed immediately by interment at Saint Joseph Fullerton, 8420 Belair Road Nottingham, MD 21236
