Bonnie Lee Rankin, age 79, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2020 in Bowie, MD. She was born on August 12, 1941 in Washington, D.C., daughter of late Teretha and John Phillips of Washington, DC. Step father was the late George B. Fowler of Forestville, MD. Ms. Rankin is survived by her husband, Richard J. Rankin of Upper Marlboro, MD; her daughter, Linda D. Meushaw, Upper Marlboro, MD, and son John D. Meushaw and Jackie of Kissimmee, FL, as well as her step son, Bart J. Rankin, and his wife, Vickie of Riva, MD, step son Kirk Rankin of Riva, MD, step daughter Renee and Dan Enright, Greenville, TN, step daughter Janine Plott, Milford, Michigan and many grandchildren.
Bonnie, along with her husband Richard, were successful business owners in the Printing Trade business for many years. She enjoyed traveling, Civil War history, geneology, reading, photography, doll collecting, writing, music and the Cowboy heroes of the past. She also loved her pets through the years consisting of many Collies and cats. Bonnie enjoyed being with her family and her grandchildren. Service and Interment will be held privately. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA at a later date.
