Barbara Jean Legg

Barbara Jean Legg, 88 years of age from Riverdale, MD, passed away on July 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara attended Northwestern High School.

She married Lawrence Legg, August 4, 1956, and remained wed until the passing of her husband on September 12, 2020.

Barbara retired from the C & P Telephone Company, after over 40 years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Gryeski, and son in law Anthony Gryeski.

She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and spending time with her friends and neighbors. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

A viewing will be held at Gasch’s Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Tuesday, August 5th from 9am until the time of service beginning at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood.
