On March 30, 2017, at the age of 88. Her husband, Robert E. Brooks, predeceased her. Mother of Julie Czechanski, Janice Smith, Joyce Roy and Robert H. (Catherine) Brooks. Grandmother of Chris, Erica, Megan, Jason, Allison, Kathryn and Adam. Eight great grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Friday, April 7th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8th at 11 a.m. at Fort Lincoln Little Chapel, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of St. Mary's County, 22699 Washington Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
