In Loving Memory of Audrey Bragg
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Bragg, who left this world peacefully on the evening of September 6, 2025, after a gradual decline in health. Audrey was a devoted mother, lifelong partner, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend whose kindness, strength, and love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Audrey is survived by her lifelong partner, Simon Plog; her sons, John Bragg (Lucy) and Larry Bragg (Jenni); and her beloved grandchildren Elizabeth, Olivia, Jack, Mary Grace, Annalise, Evangeline, Alex, Leilani, Matthew, and Joshua, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Louise Caglarcan, as well as her nieces and nephews, Shandra Kisailus (Mike), Robinn Mikalic, and Eric Steadle (Nancy), Erol Caglarcan (Leslie), Tim Caglarcan (Julie), Sue Caglarcan (Kim), and great-nieces and nephews Paul Mikalic, Kate Mikalic , Stephen Mikalic , Leo Yuscavage, Will Caglarcan, Turner Caglarcan and Lila Caglarcan.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Veronica Kisailus, and her beloved son, Brian, whose memory she carried tenderly in her heart every day.
A respected and loved member of the Riverdale Park, Maryland community, Audrey built countless friendships and relationships over the years. She was admired not only for her warmth and compassion but also for her incredible work ethic and dedication. Audrey proudly owned and operated a real estate firm, Gerrety and Bragg Real Estate, for more than 30 years, earning the trust and admiration of her clients and colleagues alike.
To her family, Audrey was the cornerstone—always ready with encouragement, a story, or a laugh. She deeply loved her friends and family and took joy in every gathering, big or small. She will be remembered for her generosity, resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. The stories, memories, and lessons she leaves behind will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life for Audrey will be held at her home on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Food and refreshments will be provided, and all who loved Audrey are welcome to attend and share in honoring her memory.
