Angelo "Tory" DeRight

Angelo “Tory” Salvatore DeRight (66) passed away at his home on June 7, 2026. Born on September 2, 1959 to Angelo and Mary (Ricchiuti) DeRight, Tory was known for his love of his family, attending & coaching his children and grandchildren’s sporting events, and his ability to grow the best garden every year.

He attended DeMatha Catholic High School, married his wife, Jan, on August 22, 1981, and later made his home in Lanham with his wife and three children.

Tory is survived by his wife, Jan DeRight; his three children, Angelo (Rachel) DeRight, Becky (CJ) Crew, Vinnie (Bethany) DeRight; and his cherished grandchildren, Angelo “AJ”, Hunter, Sadie, Jameson, Violet; mother, Mary DeRight; sisters, Jean (Antonio) Dalbello, Jeanette Pakenham; brother, Tony DeRight.

A visitation will be held from 1-4 Sunday June 28th at Gasch’s Funeral Home in Hyattsville, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in memory of Angelo DeRight to the DeCesaris Cancer Institute at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
