Alma Whitney

On March 1, 2020, Alma Gloria Malpica Whitney passed away at the age of 85. Born in
Venezuela on March 4, 1934, she came to the USA in 1964, where she held several
positions at the Inter-America Development Bank. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and
travel. She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Henry Whitney of Rockville,
her daughter Floralba Márquez and son Eduardo Márquez, both of Valencia, Venezuela,
her stepson Henry (Virginia) Whitney of Souderton, Pennsylvania, and numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Interment will be private.
