On Thursday, March 16, 2017, Alfred Hicks of Mt. Rainier, Maryland passed away peacefully at home. Beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Cocchiaro) Hicks for over 50 years. Loving father of Chris (Kari), Michael (Rina), Kevin, Angela, Eddie (Susan) and Brian (Stephanie). Cherished grandfather of 13. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Rainier, MD 20712 on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 10am. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alfred's name to the American Legion Post 136, 6900 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770.
