Name: Robert L. Barker Date: January 23rd, 1925 - May 6th, 2010 Obituary: On Thursday, May 6, 2010 of Middletown, MD formerly of Colmar Manor, MD passed away after a 10 year battle with cancer. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII and was employed by PEPCO for nearly 40 years until his retirement in 1985. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 65 years, Annamary; his son Stephen, daughters, Rebecca Barker, Annette Eichelberger and Laura Baker. He was preceded in death by his son John. Mr. Barker also had six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He will be missed by many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at GASCH’S FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD on Monday, May 10 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at Gasch’s on Tuesday, May 11 at 11 am. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
