Mary Vartabedian

On Saturday, January 24, 2015 of Hyattsville, MD. Beloved daughter of the late Jack and Elise Vartabedian. Loving sister of Dorothy Small, Myron (Lupe) Vartabedian, and Joseph (Evelyn) Vartabedian. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Mary worked for many years at the Department of the Interior and reached the position of Program Assistant Manager. She left Government service on disability, and during those years of early retirement, she did volunteer work at St. Mary's Armenian Apostolic Church as a Sunday school teacher and manager of the church bulletin. There will be a 40 day memorial service on Sunday March 8, 2015 at St. Mary's Armenian Apostolic Church, 4125 Fessenden Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20016. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Mary's Building Fund.
