On Monday, January 26, 2015 of Bowie, MD, born in South Boston, VA. Devoted mom of Libby (Skip) Pocock, Melissa Burton, and the late Chris Brigham. Loving sister of Edith Ray. She is survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Friend of Frank Gibba. Preceded in death by seven siblings. She was a member of the Landover Hills Baptist Church since December 1984. She was a daughter of a sharecropper and was a single mom. Friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Friday, January 30 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, where a service will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 11 AM.
