Judy was called home with family by her side on March 23, 2013. Beloved wife of John J. Friel; devoted mother of Deborah Lee Hudson Vornbrock and Richard Montgomery Hudson; cherished grandmother of Madison, Katherine, Emma, Michael and Claire. She is also survived by her brother James M. Mesnard and a host of other relatives and friends. Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Henrietta Mesnard. Hours of Visitation will take place Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Gasch's Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD, . Funeral Services will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hyattsville, MD on Thursday, March 28 at 2:00 pm.
