Jean McConnell

On Thursday, July 30, 2015 of Berwyn Heights, MD. Beloved wife of the late James McConnell, Sr. Loving mother of Jim (Fran) McConnell, Frank McConnell, and the late Sam McConnell. Grandmother of five, great-grandmother of six, and great-great-grandmother of one. Sister of Shirley Duwhirst and the late Pat. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a former President of the Berwyn Heights Senior Center, as well as a coordinator of the Help-by-phone food pantry and the Berwyn Presbyterian Church. She also served as an elder and a deacon, as well as teaching Sunday school. Friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Sunday, August 2, from 2 to 4 PM. A service will be offered at Berwyn Presbyterian Church, 6301 Greenbelt Road, Berwyn Heights, MD on Monday, August 3 at 11 AM. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
