Helen Poyner

Of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Hyattsville, MD, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013. She was born on July 28, 1923 in Washington, DC, and was the daughter of the late William and Anna Posey Shives. She was also predeceased by her husband CB Poyner. She is survived by her son, Bruce C. (Teresa) Poyner of Lanham, MD, her grandson Reid C. Poyner of MD; her great grandchilren, Mackenzie, Savannah, and Charlotte, all of MD; her sister-in-law Helen DelFuoco, and many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Sunday, May 5 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held at Fort Lincoln Cemetery on Monday, May 6 at 11:00 am.
