Early Chambers

December 10, 1961 — October 2, 2015

Early Joseph Chambers
Joey, 53, of 7112 Allison St., Landover Hills, MD passed away peacefully on October 2, 2015 surrounded by his family and prayer. He was born to the late Jay Lake Sr., surviving mother Clara, on a snowy day, on December 10, 1961, Landover Hills, MD. He is survived by his siblings: Pam Chase, Johnny Chambers, Orita Peck and Tracy Chambers and was preceded in death by his brother, Jay Jr. He is also survived by nephews, George and Jason Stebbing, Jonathan and Matthew Chambers, Luke and Joseph Chambers, Jay Chambers III; nieces, Chrystal Chaney, Chrissy Chambers and Joelle Chambers; 14 great nieces and nephews and many aunts and uncles. Joey was into construction work and anything else he could make a buck at. He loved to be daring, showed off as often as he could and was extremely adventurous. He also liked to cook, had an amazing heart and loved to hang out with his nephews, teaching them right from wrong, mostly to just have fun. Joey and best friend Doug, even strung up a Tarzan swing in the woods for his nephews and their friends, becoming "Neighborhood Famous" is only one of Joey's great adventures. We all have many fond and crazy memories and moments with Joey and there's a lot them!!! Then in 1987... ... he had a devastating accident, which in turn only slowed him down a bit. He was still funny, creative, remised often about old times, bragging about "Getting hit by 3/5 cars couldn't kill him". With amazing motherly love and absolute devotion from family and friends, he out lived the odds, and kept on ticking, like his Timex watch. Happy, sad and most definitely trying at times for 28 years he continued to fill hearts with happiness, joy, patience and deafening ears to the name "MAW" and milk please, I'm dying of thirst. Now at peace with GOD, he can soar with the angels of our family that awaits him in the next step of his life and of course with his superman cape!!!!
