Barry Newgent

On May 4, 2013. Loving husband of Kathleen Newgent. He is survived by daughter-in-law, Yvonne Newgent; his siblings, Doris (Harold) Barbour, William Newgent, Andrew (Tina) Newgent; grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa, Katelyn, Jonathan, David, Carolann, Matthea, Elinor, Abigail, Isaac, Steven and Matthew Newgent and Robert Clayton; and great-grandchildren Angelina and Irie. Sons Thomas and Douglas Newgent, a sister, Janet Layton, and a sister-in-law, Lynda Newgent predeceased him. Family received visitors at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., on Wednesday, May 8th from 11am to 12pm. A graveside service was held at Fort Lincoln Cemetery following the viewing. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Way of Faith Church, 8800 Arlington Blvd., Fairfax, VA 22031. Memorial contributions may be made to the Newgent Family Educational Fund, c/o Way of Faith Assembly of God, 8800 Arlington Blvd., Fairfax, VA 22031 in Barry's honor.
